OPP launch intersection safety campaign following deadly crash in rural Ontario

As rural Ontario community is dealing with the grief of a deadly crash in Mapleton Township that killed five children and injured six other people, the province's police force says it is preparing a new safety blitz. While the collision wasn't the reason for the campaign, it does "highlight the importance of safe driving behaviours at intersections."
