Ontario extends online learning for some elementary students until Jan. 25 as COVID-19 cases rise

The province says the positivity rate among school-aged children has increased sharply in recent weeks. For kids aged 12 to 13-years-old increased from 5.44 per cent in late November and early December to nearly 20 per cent in early January.
