Hostage-taker who phoned the Star pleads guilty to forcible confinement

In an hour-long call he made to the Star’s news desk during the 2017 incident, Michael Storms said: “I’ve needed help for a long time, OK? And nobody will listen. The only way to do this is to create a situation. A crisis, OK? Which is what I’m doing. So I took a hostage. Are you listening to me?”
