Heat warning for Toronto extended through Saturday: Environment Canada

It's staying hot out there into the first part of the weekend, with Environment Canada now forecasting maximum temperatures of 31 to 33 C continuing into Saturday. There is also a risk of severe thunderstorms, strong gusts and hail the size of ping pong balls Friday afternoon and evening.
