Canada Post to issue stamp honouring Albert Jackson the country’s first Black postman

Albert Jackson, a child slave who escaped to Canada on the Underground Railroad, became Toronto’s and Canada’s first Black letter carrier. A commemorative stamp will be released in February to celebrate Black History Month.
