Women’s Basketball – Lakehead Falls 74-62 to McMaster

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The Lakehead women’s basketball team (12-7) lost 74-62 to the McMaster Marauders (15-4) tonight in the Thunderdome.Rough start for the Wolves as McMaster push an early 15-4 lead. Trailing 26-11 after the first ten minutes, Lakehead picked up their energy, slowing chipping away at the score. McMaster led 39-30 at the half.Continuing their momentum, the Wolves brought it within two at the end of the third, outscoring the Marauders 23-16 in the quarter.
