Wisconsin Man Fined $3000 for Hunting Violations

FORT FRANCES – A Wisconsin man has been fined $3,000 for an offence under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act.
Brian Bates of Hortonville pleaded guilty and was fined $3,000 for discharging a firearm without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for people and property. He also received a one-year hunting suspension and must complete the Ontario Hunter Education Course before being able to apply for another licence.
