Weather Update – Cold Snap Slowly Breaking – December 28 2017
THUNDER BAY – There are fewer Extreme Cold Warnings in effect for Northwestern Ontario. Warnings for the City of Thunder Bay, Kenora, Rainy River, Fort Frances, Dryden and Vermilion Bay have ended. That is not to say the region has warmed up a lot, however, today’s forecast high for Thunder Bay of minus 14 will likely feel balmy. This morning it is -30c in Thunder Bay. The cold spot in Ontario is Armstrong at -42.1 °C.
