Toronto and Southern Ontario Getting Ice Storm Blast

TORONTO – WEATHER – The threatened ice storm that Environment Canada predicted would hit southern Ontario is currently pounding Toronto with freezing rain and ice pellets.
Environment Canada is saying ice pellets or freezing rain with ice pellet amounts 5 to 10 cm expected today. Winds are northeast 30 km/h gusting to 50. The temperature will drop to minus 1 this afternoon.
