Thunderwolves Women Win in Basketball Action

Thunder Bay – SPORTS – The Lakehead women’s basketball team (2-1) took down the Laurentian Voyageurs (1-2) in a convincing 88-46 win tonight in the Thunderdome.Lakehead opened the game with a 24-8 lead in the first quarter and continued to put up big numbers leading 45-25 at the half. Holding the Voyageurs to only 6 points in the third, the Thunderwolves momentum ultimately carried them to the 88-46 win.Leashja Grant had a solid game with 26 points, 12 rebounds. Nikki Ylag
