Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre now performing simple retinal detachment repair surgeries

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre can now perform simple retinal detachment repair surgeries for residents of northwestern Ontario. These surgeries allow patients to receive more timely care in Thunder Bay, Ont., and closer to their communities, preventing urgent trips to southern Ontario or out of province for treatment.
