Thunder Bay Kings Win in Shootout in Blaine

BLAINE, Minn. – The Thunder Bay major midget Kings got a goal from Zach Fortin in regulation and also the only one in the shootout as they pulled out a 3-2 win Thursday in North American Prospects Hockey League play at the Schwan Super Rinks in Blaine, Minn.
Minnesota picked up the night’s opening tally 12:49 into the contest as Walker Smith’s effort eluded Thunder Bay netminder Jordan Smith.
