South May Street Fire Knocked Down by Police and Fire Rescue

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Fire Rescue was called out at 04:19 to a structure fire on South May Street.
This fire was discovered by Thunder Bay Police who were patrolling the area due to a suspicious vehicle fire that was being extinguished by fire personnel.
The first arriving Fire Rescue unit on May Street noticed a small fire at the rear of the structure.
A fast acting police officer discharged a fire extinguisher on the fire while a second police officer filled a nearby garbage can
