SIU Rules No Reasonable Grounds for Charges in Sioux Lookout Incident

SIOUX LOOKOUT – The Director of the Special Investigations Unit, Tony Loparco, has determined there are no reasonable grounds to lay criminal charges against an Ontario Provincial Police officer in relation to the arrest of a 22-year-old woman in Sioux Lookout in April of 2016.The Director’s Report was delivered to the Attorney General, as is required by law under the Police Services Act.
