September 2 2018 – Northwestern Ontario Wildfire Update

THUNDER BAY – WILDFIRE Update – There were four new fires confirmed in the Northwest Region by the early evening of Sept. 2.Kenora Fire 141 is located west of Swan Lake, approximately 21 kilometres northwest of Minaki. At 0.4 hectares, the fire is not under control.
Sioux Lookout Fire 158 is located east of Lower Grassy Bay on Lac Seul First Nation, approximately 11 kilometres north of Frenchman’s Head. The fire is being held at 0.2 hectares.
