RCMP Investigation into Frog Lake First Nation Death Continues

Frog Lake First Nation, Alberta – K-Division RCMP report that last night at approximately 10:00PM MDT, Elk Point RCMP responded to a shooting incident that allegedly occurred on the Fishing Lake Metis Settlement.
A male was then found deceased a short time later on the Frog Lake First Nation. No one else was injured.
The investigation is ongoing. Members from the RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit – North (MCU) have assumed carriage of the file and are being assisted by Elk Poi
