Police rescue unresponsive woman from McIntyre River

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police report that on Sept. 30 at approximately 5:36 p.m., officers responded to reports of a body floating in the river behind the Thunder Centre on Fort William Road.
Upon arrival Thunder Bay Police Service officers MOORE and LORENTZ observed a female approximately twenty-five feet from the shoreline. The woman was unresponsive. Officers also observed a second individual splashing in the water approx 10 feet from the shore.
