Northwestern Ontario fire department recruiting volunteer firefighters before training cost increase

Officials at the Fort Frances Fire Department are rushing to sign up new recruits before new provincial legislation comes into effect, which makes it much more expensive for fire departments across northwestern Ontario to train new volunteer firefighters.
