Northwest Region Forest Fire Situation Update, August 22, 2022

THUNDER BAY – WILDFIRE UPDATE – It remains quiet on the wildfire front.No new fires were confirmed in the Northwest Region by the late afternoon of Aug. 22.
Since the last update:Sioux Lookout 5 was located near Osnaburgh Lake, approximately five kilometres southeast of Mishkeegogamang First Nation. The 0.1 hectare fire has been called out.
