Mayoral forum cancelled amid library worker strike in Thunder Bay, Ont.

The Thunder Bay Public Library has cancelled its evening mayoral forum at its County Park branch on Oct. 15 amid a library worker strike in the northern Ontario city. After an impasse in negotiations spanning roughly a year, roughly 70 library workers under CUPE Local 3120 and 87-18 went on strike Thursday at all four city branches.
