Thunder Bay – Wildfire Update – As warmer temperatures arrive the risk of fires in the region’s forests is increasing.
Northwest Region There is currently one active wildland fire in the Northwest Region.Kenora 6 is located within the community of Wabaseemoong Independent Nation. The fire is currently under control at 0.5 hectares.
The fire hazard is moderate to high across the Northwest Region this afternoon.
