Lakehead Women’s Basketball Winning Ways Continue

WINNIPEG – SPORTS – The Lakehead women’s basketball team defeated Winnipeg this afternoon, 62-59, at the University of Winnipeg BOB FM Shootout.The Thunderwolves led 22-9 after the first quarter but Winnipeg quickly turned it around and outscored Lakehead 18-8. The Thunderwolves held the advantage at the half 30-27 which was the difference in the game as both Winnipeg and Lakehead each scored 32 points in the second half.“We had a really good start to this one but struggl
