Kenora time capsule buried to mark completion of Trans Canada Trail and Canada 150

Kenora's unique cultural heritage and environment has been marked by the burying of a time capsule at the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre. The capsule also marks Canada 150 and the completion of the Trans Canada Trail. Kenora was one of just five gateway communities on the Trans Canada Trail in Ontario selected to take part in the capsule project.
