Hockey – Thunderwolves fall 3-1 at Guelph

GUELPH – SPORTS – The Lakehead Thunderwolves began a three-game road trip with a 3-1 loss to the Guelph Gryphons at the Gryphon Centre on Friday night.
Guelph controlled the play for most of the first period, out-chancing the Wolves and testing Lakehead goalie Nic Renyard frequently, but he was cool as a cucumber from the get-go and kept it up for the duration of the contest.
The Wolves had their scoring opportunities as well but were unable to get anything behind Guelph netmind
