'Higher fire behavior' in northwest region sparks 7 new fires near Kenora, Ont.

In the past 24 hours there's been a "significant increase in the fire load" across northwestern Ontario, according to Chris Marchand — the fire information officer with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
