Fort Frances OPP – Busy weekend for Officers

FORT FRANCES – The Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had a very busy weekend while responding to 112 calls for service over the Labour Day Long Weekend. In addition, members conducted proactive patrols on the District’s Highways, issuing 48 Provincial Offence Notices (P.O.N.s) in total.
The following is a breakdown of the 48 P.O.N.s issued:28 issued for speeding,
Ten for other Highway Traffic Act offences,
Three for Liquor Licence Act offences,
Three for Compulsory
