Forest Fire Situation Update Northwest Region -July 13, 2018

THUNDER BAY – WILDFIRE UPDATE – There were six new fires in the Northwest Region by the early afternoon of July 13.Kenora Fire 69 was reported mid-morning near Olson Rd. north of the Kenora Bypass (Hwy. 17A). The fire has been declared out.
 A FireRanger crew is holding Red Lake Fire 68, a 0.2-hectare fire near the south shore of Borel Lake, approximately 50 kilometres northwest of the community of Red Lake.
