First Responders rescue women from Neebing River

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service report that patrol officers responded to multiple 911 calls from concerned citizens to report that they can hear female voices yelling for help and splashing in the river.In a media release issued Sunday, Police say that before 11:30 p.m. on October 21, 20 17, emergency service personnel responded to the area of the Neebing River by Syndicate Avenue and located two 17 year old females in the river.
