Fire on Simpson Street Brings out Full Response

THUNDER BAY – At 3:07 Thursday afternoon Thunder Bay Fire Rescue were called to a report of a structural fire in a building in the 300 block of Simpson Street. The first arriving crew reported nothing showing on arrival but after a quick inspection of the upper level determined there was a fire. A 45mm hose line was deployed into an apartment on the second floor at the rear of the building.
They quickly found and extinguished a fire on the stove in that apartment.
