Federal government commits to permanent rural, northern immigration program

The Government of Canada says it is working to make RNIP permanent. In the meantime, it is launching two new temporary pilot projects called The Rural Community Immigration Pilot and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot. Both will eventually become permanent.
