In Europe, there are leading banks which are looking to restrict their credit card users from using their cards to purchase bitcoin and other digital currencies. Banks are suggesting that this move is to protect card users. It is also a potential move that all of us should be watching closely. It could be the start of a real move to control what customers are able to purchase.
