Bus Driver Assaulted by Intoxicated Suspect

THUNDER BAY – On October 10, 2018, at approximately 7:20 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Junot Avenue and Windsor Street on a report of a bus driver that had been assaulted.
When officers arrived they spoke to the 31-year-old male driver who indicated that an intoxicated male got on the bus at this location and demanded a free ride. The driver refused and the male struck him with a bottle in a bag. The driver managed to get the male off the bus for the safety of the pa
