Basketball – LU Thunderwolves Sweep Algoma Thunderbirds

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The Lakehead women’s basketball team took down the Algoma Thunderbirds for the second time this weekend, winning their second regular-season matchup 81-60 tonight in the Thunderdome. The win takes the Thunderwolves to 2-0 on the season and 4-0 against Algoma including preseason.The Thunderwolves started slowly, losing the first quarter, but regained the lead by half.
