Bantam Kings ready for Big Nickel in Sudbury

THUNDER BAY – Fresh off being crowned champions at the North American Hockey League’s Future Prospects event in Minnesota two weeks ago, the Thunder Bay AAA bantam Kings will once again try to mine gold this weekend as they travel to Sudbury to compete in the 38th annual Big Nickel Tournament.
Thunder Bay opens up competition Friday with two tilts on their slate.
They’ll open up against the Soo Greyhounds at 9:30 a.m. before taking on the North Bay Trappers at 5:15 p.m.
