Bantam Kings advance to Big Nickel semifinal

SUDBURY – The Thunder Bay AAA bantam Kings are off to the semifinals at the 38th annual Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury.
Thunder Bay impressed in round robin play skating to a 3-0-1 record to finish first overall in the eight-team standings.
They will now meet the CIH Academy from Rockland, Ont. in semifinal play Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
Awaiting the winner there will be either the Oshawa Generals or the Ontario Hockey Academy from Cornwall in the championship game at 1:45 p.m.
