THUNDER BAY – There were two new fires confirmed in the Northwest Region by the afternoon of Monday, April 30th. Both are small and are located in the Sioux Lookout and Dryden districts.
There were eight forest fires in the Northwest Region over the weekend. These fires were located in the Thunder Bay, Fort Frances, Kenora and Dryden districts. Most of these fires have been declared out or are under control.
