Forest Fire Situation Update – Northwest Region
THUNDER BAY – WILD FIRE UPDATE –  There were 27 new fires in the Northwest region on August 7. The majority of the new fires were caused by lighting that had occurred over the past several days. All of the fires responded well to suppression and efforts were aided by the scattered rain that occurred through the region.
