Youth handed three-year sentence for role in 2015 Mac's store killings

A 16-year-old boy was handed a three-year sentence on manslaughter charges in the deaths of two Mac’s store employees but, because of time served, he will find himself out by mid-December.
The youth, who was 13 at the time and whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was also given a two-year sentence on robbery charges by Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Donna Shelley Friday, which is to be served concurrently.
