Youngster dead after being hit by truck in Lloydminster

A seven-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in Lloydminster.
Lloydminster RCMP were called at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after the driver of a red Toyota Tacoma struck the boy at the intersection of 57 Avenue and 31 Street, near Rendell Park Elementary School.
The boy died as a result of his injuries, police said.
The boy’s family has been notified and the driver is being interviewed as the investigation continues.
An RCMP reconstructionist is on the scene working with the local R
