Woman faces additional charges after 65 horses seized from Alberta property

A woman is facing 60 additional animal cruelty charges after an RCMP investigation resulted in the seizure of more than 70 animals from a Parkland County property.
On Tuesday, 65 horses and six dogs were removed from a rural property after a collaborative effort between Evansburg RCMP, RCMP Livestock Investigations, Alberta SPCA, Brand Inspectors, Sangudo Veterinary Clinic, Parkland County and Lac St. Anne County.
Three dead horses were previously found on the property.
