Winter Feast: Salvation Army hosts dinner to warm hearts and bellies

There is nothing quite like a hot meal from generous hosts to warm hearts on cold days.
Salvation Army staff recognized the cold February days are a perfect time to host such dinners and Wednesday night held the first Winter Feast event for anyone in need.
The roast beef meal — held at the 9611 102 Ave. Salvation Army Centre of Hope — was to include performances by Chubby Cree, an Indigenous drumming group and local musician Paula Kirman.
