Wife, son of slain Alberta farmer to be released on bail

A mother and son charged with first-degree murder in the death of an Alberta farmer wept Thursday as an Edmonton judge ruled they would both be released on bail.
Helen Naslund, 53, and Neil Naslund, 25, are both charged with first-degree murder and offering an indignity to a dead body in connection with the death of Miles Naslund.
The remains of the 49-year-old, who has been missing since 2011, were discovered in a body of water on his family’s farm near Holden, Alta., earlier this month.
