Wednesday's letters: Forget weeds, bikes and focus on slayings
City council should concentrate its efforts less on dandelion control and new bike lanes and start focusing on more pressing issues such as the increased homicide rate and crime in this city.
Council should be reviewing policing, the police budget, and the recent trend of closing community police stations. There also needs to be more of a police presence and the closing of these stations certainly deviates from that.
Calgary has suffered the same economic downturn and increased unemployment yet
