Wednesday's letters: Finding a solution for e-bikes

Re: David Staples’ column on e-bikes, Aug. 16. Currently, electric bikes are commonly sharing footpaths, trails, and bike lanes, with regular bikes and pedestrians. Some have joined motorized traffic on city streets. Yes, e-bicycles have very quickly become very popular. Senior citizens have shown a renewed interest in cycling. Both, young and old, are enjoying the easier pedalling, and the extra speed. Read More
