Watch: Hockey Griffins remember teammate Nakehko Lamothe

The MacEwan University Griffins men’s hockey team is remembering teammate Nakehko Lamothe as a hard-working player who was a leader on and off the ice.
Lamothe died Friday night following a game in Calgary against the SAIT Trojans after collapsing in the dressing room and going into cardiac arrest. He was 23.
According to teammates the six-foot-three, 210-pound forward was dedicated to fitness.
Lamothe’s funeral will be in Calling Lake on Wednesday, which his team plans to attend.
