Watch: Electric Antarctica vehicle to conquer Canadian winter

An eclectic adventure with a backstory tied to Formula One racing, royalty and Antarctica converged at the Hotel Macdonald Thursday morning as an electric car manufacturer unveiled a zero-emission snowcat vehicle.
Historical ties prompted electric car manufacturer Venturi to debut its tracked snowcat, dubbed “Antarctica,” outside Edmonton’s Fairmont hotel, said the company in a news release. The machine was built at the request of Prince Albert II of Monaco.
