Ward 7: What you need to know for this municipal election

There is no shortage of contenders wanting to topple three-term Ward 7 incumbent Tony Caterina in the 2017 Edmonton municipal elections.
There are six candidates who have announced their intentions to date.
Affordable housing, transit, policing and crime, and of course, in-fill development will all be issues candidates will focus on. But one of the biggest issues facing the ward is one of the city’s hot button issues: What is going to happen with Northlands?
