UCP would ban easy floor crossing, introduce recall legislation

Any MLA who wants to cross the floor of the legislature to another party should have to resign and run in a byelection, United Conservative Party Leader Jason Kenney said Thursday.
He made the comments during a 1 p.m. media availability in downtown Edmonton as he unveiled a series of proposals related to elected officials, including the introduction of MLA recall legislation.
