Two youth in critical condition after Edmonton house fire

Residents of Edmonton’s Lago Lindo neighbourhood say they’re devastated after a cooking fire tore through a home and hospitalized three people Sunday. 
The fire broke out in the kitchen of the single-family home at 17808 93 St. The fire was caused by over-heated cooking oil left unattended around 9:30 p.m. for a few minutes, according to a Monday news release from Edmonton Fire Rescue Services.
The fire was contained to the kitchen and brought under control 20 minutes later.
