Two killed in Wetaskiwin house fire

A man and a woman are dead after a fire tore through a home in Wetaskiwin early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out in the home at 45 Avenue and 54 Street before 1:30 a.m., RCMP said in a news release. The cause is still under investigation.
Fire crews arrived to find the home “fully engulfed” in flames.
An 88-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man were killed. Both lived in the home, but have not been identified.
No one else was home at the time of the fire.
